B-Mets capture the opening night win 2-1 against New Hampshire. Melky Mesa gave the Fisher Cats a 1-0 lead in the second inning, but the B-Mets responded. On his birthday, Jeff McNeil hit a solo home run in the third and drove in the winning run in the eighth inning. B-Mets pitcher Robert Gsellman recorded 7 strikeouts, and Akeel Morris recorded the save in the win.
